Every employee and contractor working on behalf of Enstructure is trained to help facilitate our pursuit of zero safety incidents, environmental protection and efficient resource utilization.

Implementing the supply chain of the future means incorporating sustainable practices into every step of our work. We are committed to evolving our operations to continue adopting sustainable practices that facilitate a viable future for our communities and our business.
Renewable energy
We have diversified our marine terminal services to support renewable energy products including offshore wind, renewable fuels and large-scale industrial recycling.
Zero & Low emission equipment
A $127M federal investment into all electric assets in Wilmington, Delaware and $34 million federal investment in New Haven, Connecticut are supporting our company-wide initiative to decarbonize operations.
SOLAR energy
At Enstructure New Haven, we are installing solar panels on a warehouse roof as part of our dedication to reducing dependence on the local power grid.
Electricity reduction
We’ve reduced electricity consumption by approximately 30% at our Connecticut and Memphis terminals by converting to LED lighting.
Scrap metal recycling
Our long-term operating agreement with one of the largest global metal and electronics recycling companies is facilitating significant volumes of scrap metal recycling.
Solar garden
Enstructure Inland River expects to offset 100% of fossil fuel electricity consumption with solar energy through a long-term agreement for a solar garden.
Taking action on sustainability targets
Enstructure is a member of Green Marine, the leading voluntary environmental certification for the North American maritime industry. Through Green Marine and our own core values, we have set out to establish and achieve ambitious sustainability goals that advance supply chain operations and protect the communities where we live and work.
